What is a golf simulator?
A golf simulator is a great time in the right company!
It's a safe and enclosed environment for you to play and improve your golf game without being on a real course!
How does a golf simulator work?
A golf simulator uses advanced tracking technology and software to analyse your shots and project realistic ball flight and course play on a large screen.
What hardware and software do you use?
We use the SKYTRAK+ Launch Monitor. Its dual-doppler radar technology and photometric camera system ensures accurate swing and ball flight data.
Our custom-built enclosures ensure a safe environment for you & your guests.
Do you cater for both indoor and outdoor bookings?
We are primarily an indoor setup - with exceptions.
As long as the area meets the specified requirements we will do what we need to make it work.
Is the simulator child or beginner friendly?
Absolutely!
Our setup and staff are beginner-friendly and suitable for all ages.
Even if you've never picked up a club before, we’ll make sure you have fun and feel comfortable.
What areas do you service?
We find most of our bookings are located in the Melbourne Metro area.
If your event is located further away, we can still deliver with an additional distance surcharge.
Pricing & Payment
How much does it cost?
We try to make booking as easy as possible, our price includes everything listed, but not limited to!

How long can a booking be?
We offer a minimum hire period of 4 hours and flexible pricing for extensions when you're having too much fun.
If you feel you need more time, we've got you covered - just let us know!
How long should I hire for?
Depending on pace of play and number of players, 18 holes usually takes 2 hours for a squad of 4.
Our minimum hire period of 4 hours should give your guests plenty of time to have a go without taking away from your event!
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
We understand that events aren't always clear cut so if you'd like to soft lock a date before you decide, please send us a message.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other standard electronic payments.
Do you offer discounts for longer bookings or repeat bookings?
If there was a way to say yes without explicitly saying yes, this would be it.

Booking & Availability
How do I make a booking?
Simply submit a booking request form via our website and we'll call you to lock in your event!
Alternatively, call us directly to check availability!
How many simulators can I book at once?
We generally encourage booking only one simulator so it doesn't take your guests away from the main event!
If you need more than one setup because you're all golf-fanatics, contact us and we'll see what we can do!
What is the minimum hire period?
Our minimum booking duration is 4 hours.
How far in advance should I make a booking?
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekend events.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Cancellations made 7+ days in advance may receive a full refund.
Closer cancellations may forfeit the deposit based on our cancellation policy.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate at our event?
We’ll work with you to reschedule or adjust the setup if possible.
Setup & Technical Requirements
How much space do I need for the simulator setup?
We need a flat area approximately 4m wide x 3m long x 3m high.
Do you provide delivery, setup and teardown?
Of course!
The cost of delivery, setting up and teardown are included in your booking at no extra charge.
Will the setup and teardown eat into my booking time?
No way!
As long as we can access the site, we will set it up beforehand and will take it away after your booking duration.

How long does it take to set up/pack-up the simulator?
Setup typically takes about 45–60 minutes, but will vary depending on the location and site access.
Do I need to provide anything (power, internet, space, etc.)?
Just a standard power outlet and a clear, level space.
Internet is not required.
Can it be set up in a garage, marquee, or custom venue?
Yes, as long as the space meets the size and height requirements.

Is it suitable for parties or corporate events?
Definitely!
Golf is perfect for team-building, EOFY celebrations, and social gatherings.
Do you offer packages for weddings, birthdays, etc.?
Yes, we offer customizable event packages for all occasions.
Talk to us and we'll do our best to make your event extra special.
Can we customise the experience for our event?
We can tailor the setup with music, decorations, and mini-games for your special event!
Do you provide an attendant/operator for events?
A trained SwingSpace team member will be on-site to assist and enhance the experience for your guests!
Do you cater food or drinks for the event?
We focus on making sure your guests are having an absolute blast swinging golf clubs, so unfortunately, we won't have time to do food and drinks too!
Gameplay & Features
How many courses are available to play?
You’ll have access to over 32 courses, including some world-famous Tour venues through SKYTRAK+.
How many people can play at the same time?
Up to 4 players if playing courses to keep pace of play reasonable.
For minigames like nearest to pin or longest drive - unlimited!
Does it include a practice driving range or swing analysis?
You'll be able to hit balls into a virtual range and get real-time data on ball speed, clubhead speed, smash factor, launch angle, face angle, spin, carry, total distance, and more!
Is it easy to use?
Yes!
If it is an event, our SwingSpace host will take care of everything.
If booking for something smaller, we'll provide a detailed user-guide and a contact you can reach out to!
Do I need special balls or clubs?
The reason we chose SKYTRAK+ was so you wouldn't need custom golf balls or stickers on your clubs to get all the data you need.
If you don't have clubs or balls, let us know and we'll provide them for your booking!
Will it suit both left and right handed players?
Our setup is not universal but can be switched to cater for left or right handed guests. Please let us know ahead of time.
Maintenance & Safety
What happens if there is a medical emergency?
We ensure our team are trained in first aid for your peace-of-mind.
As golfers and not doctors, we basically will have bandaids and a mobile to help call 000 in a medical emergency.
Do you clean the equipment between bookings?
All equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between every booking.
What happens if something stops working during my rental?
We'll be on-site to handle repairs and maintenance.
In most cases, we can troubleshoot on the spot - just notify us immediately.
What happens if I break/damage something during my rental?
Assuming you're asking because of misuse or intentional damage.
Notify us immediately and we'll do our best to keep your event running.
Your booking may end up costing a little more to replace damaged items.
Do you provide safety guidelines?
Yes, our staff will provide a safety briefing and guidelines before use.
Like anything, if used correctly, our simulators are safe for guests of all ages and ability levels to enjoy.
Is SwingSpace insured?
SwingSpace carries full liability insurance, but we hope we never have to use it, especially if our simulators are enjoyed responsibly by all guests.
